So for a while had abit of a art block and was thinking what to draw what to draw, and I remebered a character, that gets a lot of hate, but I really love this character, and he doesn'tget a lot of pictures drawn of him, and truthfully I can understand his point of view in why he was the he was, so here he is Ash Mongoose. After rereading some of the old Archie comics becasue sometimes you can't forget the old drama comics no matter how hard you try. and when I got to Ash's intruductions and read parts where he acted like a jerk and a** at most parts, I saw why he gets hate, but when ou get to the parts where he trys to be nice and trys to change, it starts to make sense on why he is that way. Imagine being in his shoes where your best friend before you got together they use to tell you, they had a huge crush on this one person, and they thought they had something they would tell you everything, tell you those nice moments and those bad moments, and for Ash all he could think about was all the things Mina told him, I could see them being friends before actually becoming a couple becasue you wouldn't date yopur manager right off the back right, so Ash and Mina were friends at first, and then after awhile Mina wanted to move away from her feelings for Sonic especially after everything she saw between him and Sally. Plus to cope with him being blasted to space, she went for a rebound with someone who would listen to all her worries and her her feelings, someone who would agree with everything she said, someone who was there at the right time, Ash her manager. Ash didn't take advantage of anything he did have feelings for Mina and with how I see him as I see him repecting her space her privacy before becoming Bf/Gf, and once they did Ash was so happy because he never thought he would become something like that to her so he would do everything in his power to treat her like an idol she was, plus during that time Sonic wasn't around not much to worry about, since the guy that his girl had a thing for is not really around, until he came back. Now imagine seeing your girl, with sparkles in her eyes, screaming shouting telling you that her hero, her, idol, her from what she says friend is back, you never saw her act this way in front of you, and you hold back the look of fear, and tell her your really happy her friend is back and how you can't wait to meet him face to face. You think your about to meet the guy your girl had told you about how much she loved him, how much she looked up to them, but she never truly once told she was over him, why would she, she chose you, but when you meet, you notice something something off, with how your girl treats this guy, shes more hands on more happy then anyone else she's been around even you, you look at this guy, and you remember all the times he's hurt the girl you practiculy worship, and you wonder if maybe just maybe she still might have feelings for him, even after everything he has done to hurt her and truthfully you don't want to see her hurt again espically with a guy that caused it in the first place.

Time passes and we get to the confontational part of it all, you have held back your words you make yourself look like a jerk in front of everyone mostly when your around the other guy, your girl doesn't know why your so upset, or why you act the way you do, becasue she knows your not that way, and you finally let it out. But it wasn't how you really wanted to let it out, you wanted to sit and talk about how you feel hopefully she understands but instead, because you bottled it up for so long, you letr it out the wrong way. You yell at her, and tell her she still has feelings for the other guy, and she denies it, but her's the thing being with her all the time reading her songs and lyrics, you see parts that mention this guy, and she doesn't see it becasue she is denying herself the real closure she needs to move on from him, and you jsut can't seem to show her or communicate it in the right way, and you make a huge mistake, and break up with the girl you love with all you heart and wish for to be happy.
You listen to her music and remeber why you fell for her, and go around your head more times over how stupid you were, that isn't you, she knew it and you knew it. So you go after the show, and try to tell her how wrong you were and wanting to get on your knees to apologize but then a bomb appers and so no one loses someone so beautiful and amazing you risk your life not caring if you die or not, just so long as she's safe. After it all you survived and you hear your girl apologizing, for what, she did nothign wrong, it was all you, but after a few words and a kiss your official back together, and your more then happy to apologize for every stupid thing you said and did.

More time passes and we get to Ash apologizing to Sonic, why, becasue I believe Ash and Mina finally had a talk, Ash told Mina how he felt about everything and Mina told ASh about how she felt, and they made compromises, and reached aplace where they could be happy, that's what I think alot of people kinda don't see, because Ash always acted like a jerk, but only in front of Sonic, wanting to show off, wanting to show how much of a pain Sonic was, because, he was scared, that he would lose, Mina. I know jealous people are not cool or, amazing but thin kof this how many times has Sonic been Jealous, how many times has he actedlike a jerk, how many times has Sonic actually been mean to others becasue he was so way past cool, Love you Sonic, but you were mean at times. But we always excused those becasue Sonic's the hero we see him do more good, then evil, so what if we saw Ash doing the same amount of good, and the same things Sonic did, probably be a bit different, like one senario I can think of is when Ash challenged Sonic to Darts becasue Sonic was showing off and Mina was all eyes and ears, and showed amazment, afterwards we see Ash storm off becasue he didn't win/ up show Sonic, but after abit of a cool down he apologized to Mina for acting up but never actually told anything, Mina just assumed why he was mad, plus she would always make it seem like she was taking both sides, but she never really reprimanded Sonic to his face about egging Ash on or, making fun of him or, telling him to stop until they talked but she still wouldn't do it even if Ash acted nicer to him, because, weeeelll Mina still has feelings for Sonic.

We all know Mina still has feelings for Sonic and well, this is where I actually started seeing why Ash had every right to be on his toes and on edge. Mina from the moment Sonic came back, was fighting even thinking about getting together with him because she saw him and Sally kiss, and she was heart broken, and after it all as she was getting her band together she found her band mates, she found an amazing manager, she thought she was ready she had a friend outside of the freedom fighters becasue she was trying to avoid them, or more less Sonic, she talked alot to her mates, but mostly to her manager, they got close but not too close yet. Until Sonic got blown into space, and she was once again broken hearted, and looking for closure to it all, unlike Sally, Mina dove herself into her music and probably without thinking she wrote love songs about the guy she would never see again, and they became popular but she still felt empty she thought maybe she needed well someone else to fill the void hence the one person who was close and showed alot of intrest in her, Ash her manager, always there to listen and hear her out, and she was happy, she thought she was in love, until Sonic came back, and well we all know how that went, at the big event to wlecome Sonic back, and for a great fight, it all ended with a big break up.
Now for the part I love the most for Mina, and why again I see why Ash was on edge, before the big fight with Ash, and Mina came to comic story, Love & Loss, where we have alot of sweet heartbreaking, funny stories of ladies wanting aadvice for their love life, now lets all focus on the second story shall we, the story of Singing the blues, now STB is writing to Ally, asking for advice about two men in her life, one of which she confessed her feelings for but he didn't feel the same instead he had feeling for another, she saw the whole thing and it broke her heart, so so wanted to move on from it, she has a new boyfriend, she likes him, BUT she doesn't love him. and the her new boo would move moutians for her, but she heard the first guy she likes is no longer with the girl he liked, she's thinking of breaking it off with her new boo, but her heart says no don't. We all knowwho this is, Mina considered breakng up with Ash, to try and get together with Sonic, but her heart said no, don't. we read that part and thinking "Oh so Ash is just acting like a jerk for no reason, what an a**." and I say, didn't you read anywhere that Mina talked with him about it, did Mina confess to Ash she was considering breaking up with him, becasue she felt like breaking it off with him to try and be with the other guy, who in let's see in Archie comic 150, she litarlly went out on a date who she thought was Sonic, and most of you are thinkging "but she didn't go through with it, she stopped herself before-" Before her boyfriend saw her, now imagine yourself walking up thinking you see your partner sitting somewhere thinking there alone, but when you get up to them you see them with another perosn holding hands and nearly about to kiss, what would your mind go to, would it be "oh they look like their having fun" or would your mind go blank and everything you feared was coming true, Mina if given the chance would be with Sonic in a heatbeat, Oh! in fact she did, Mina litrally the moment after her concert after the whole bombing around the stage, Sonic asked to qoute on qoute Hang out with her the next day, not even saying no I need some time to myself after all this or telling anyone what happen between her or Ash. She stright up said yea sure lets do it, and agian through that time Sonic was sstill getting over his break up with Sally, so I' sorry to say but Sonic was looking for rebound and he knew Mina would be down for it, and Mina just having fresh wounds herself, decides to make another bad move, in going out with a guy he now ex, was telling her he felt off about. Either it was out of spite or it was out of pain, she should have said no, and probably hung out with someone else.

Now I'm putting any blame on one person I'm putting it on both, Mina not yet ready for a real relationship and Ash not being able to get to know a person before assuming something, butr mostly both of them for not sommunicating properly. If they did in the beginning the falout wouldn't happen and Ash probably wouldn 't have been acting like a jerk in front of Sonic, and things might've been normal for them and no would have any hate for Ash except maybe some of the shippers for SonicxMina. But again since I see Ash's actions in a different light and see both sides to the coin, I understand why Ash acted that way. But I also don't really see Ash and Mina working out in the long run becasue again Mina isn't ready for a real relationship, Ash still needs to work on communication skills and not focus on one person, Ash would mave moutians for Mina and mybe he shouldn't as a Boyfriend but as a friend, that's waht I really see, Ash and Mina being friends, and maybe that's they should have been when we met Ash, that way we see a side we probably thought would never see side who wasn't jerk a side who's an amazing manager and friend, and a good support to both Mina and the band, and if we saw thing kinda escalate between them, maybe who knows, something nice might have happened~

*Phew* didn't expect this, but I guess just wanted to tell you guys on why I like Ash, he's a great boyfriend when we see it, he's a cool guy when we see it, and he really does love Mina, but I have a headcanon/AU where Mina and Ash break up and after a Month or so something happens and yes it invovles male/male shipping. But mostly again I think both Mina and Ash should break up on good terms and he is still Mina's manager and they are good friends, nothing more nothing less.

If you still don't like Ash that's fine, just wanted to say why I liked him and why.
