The Spell that Kazumi is using is called "Bolt Step" a Light Spell that can only be used by Demons/Phantasms/Celestians and really any creature with shape shifting abilities. Turns the user into a bolt of lighting for a short period of time. The Spell can be used in two way. Partial conversion and full conversion. Partial takes up less energy and can be used more frequently but has a slower top speed. Full takes up nearly all of the spare energy the user has for a top speed that caps at light speed. Because of this, the spell is powerful but impractical to use. Making it unreliable outside of the hands of a select few whom know how to wisely use it let alone have the energy to do so. Kazumi can use the partial version for up to 5 times before needing to recharge, and the full version up to 2 times.

About this pic: Started out as a traditional sketch that was scanned in and redrawn, colored and rendered in GIMP digitally using the Brush tool and pathways. and touched up with the smudge, and erase, tools and the gaussian Blur filter on some parts of the Background.
