Okay, so in the movie, there's a scene where Scamp blurts out Angel's heartfelt secret about wanting to be a cherished family dog; despite having promised her a mere few hours prior that her secret was safe with him. The stakes being on the fact if Buster and the Junkyard Gang found out, she'd be booted out of her only support group and shelter left despite her distaste for that particular lifestyle. We briefly see Angel get into a crouched position with an enraged look on her face and Scamp backing away from her in fear, as if she was gonna pounce on and give him a thumping had Buster not intervened. However, being a gushy Disney movie, this was not to be! Dissatisfied as I was, I decided to commission this piece in order to display what really should've happened instead. Dogs don't argue like people, and my thinking is in a slight burst of fury due to having her trust betrayed yet again, Angel would unleash herself on Scamp momentarily to not only reprimmend his actions, but to teach him a true street dog's lesson as well. Rather than a rolled up newspaper swat on the butt he was used to back home, this was a lesson brought on by the School of Hard Knocks! As Angel had teased him about upon their first meeting. I also think this would have played a more potent role is Scamp's decision to return home to his family. Having been pampered all his life, there's no way he'd know how to stand up and defend himself against other strays, especially those larger and stronger than he is. Although Buster was his idol, Buster detested him for the simple fact he is Tramp's son and so if he had stayed with the Junkyard Dogs, he'd have very likely been at the bottom of the heap so to say at all times when it came to eating and special privileges all the other dogs enjoyed.
