So, backstory. I am the sort of person who, when visiting a new place, goes out of his way to try new things. Even if I would normally not want to. Visiting Sambun, I took the chance to try a "pickle dog." A hot dog put into a hollowed-out pickle which is breaded and deep-fried.
It was so very bad. The pickle skin was super thick, so you couldn't bite through... And every bit sent this gush of pickle juice down your arm... It just... was not good..... Do not recommend....................... It was also absurdly thick, leading Sambun to forever label it the "Thiccle Dog." Ugh, the worst.
The taste was fine? To be honest, it was mostly the size being rather insurmountable, the thick skin of the pickle that made it hard to bite through, and the sheer flood of pickle juice that *soaked* my arm with every bite. haha
