Backstory: Religion is an anthropomorphic pony civilian who dwells from a large city, dubbed Ponia. The night that he slept, his whole life changed one day the night he slept, and he saw something that was unexpected to him...a vision of the Wynderian-Netherian War. The two princesses who ruled and governed their homes.
Wynderia, a Heaven-themed place for Wynderian ponies ruled by an Angecorn princess, whose name is Princess Saphira.
Netheria, a Hell-themed place for Netherian ponies ruled by a Devicorn princess, whose name is Princess Lucia.
The day that his home in Ponia was lost, he had no other choice, but to take action by fighting off a bunch of Wynderian Pony soldiers, as well as some Netherian Pony Soldiers. Conflicted by this, Religion chose to fight for Ponia, and wipe out both sides for messing with his town.
