A non-canonical Together Alone/Partners crossover musing of mine. As well as the introduction of another neutral TA monster, Gerald.
Gerald comes from a puppet theater box that shows up any old where. A head will extend out on the end of a sleeved arm with multiple joints connecting other arm formations leading back into the box. The darkness inside the box can't be seen through by the naked eye, camera, and other enhanced or electronic forms of vision. I.E. Night vision, infrared, x-ray.
Sometimes arms will be produced as well. Up to five. All showing the same multiple arm formations inside sleeves.
Gerald has proven to be harmless thus far. He just seems to want to talk. Though...there's something a little...off...about the way he does. He never strays from small talk, so meaningful answers about his past and nature are not forthcoming. Attempts to stray from this subject pattern will be ignored by Gerald and he'll either try to continue the previous topic or start a new one.
It's unclear if this is due to there simply being no more to the creature, or if there's an underlying motive being followed by his odd behavior.
Either way, he's clearly startled Natalie, interrupting her on her way.
