towel mom (i will call her that from now on, sounds amazing. :) ) is still a cold ass.....well...snake :) GOD BLESS ARCHETYPES WHEN USED CORRECTLY. and her son is a real kid, no "I HATE YOU CUS YOUI NEVER LOVED ME, MWAAA MWAAA" no sitcom crap, no soap opera bs, this, is real. "ok...so...you are my mom....how does it work? you love me already? need time to adapt? ic an wait." they bond....because. well...they are family, there's chemistry between them, yeah, they are still shy about it, AND THAT'S NORMAL. this comic, about a snake girl with a penis.....is actually a way better reading than most of "professional" comics today, the joker riping off his face, blob canibalizing half of the marvel universe, pietro and wanda on a incestuous relationship that came out of nowhere....yeah, A FURRY COMIC ABOUT A FUTANARI SNAKE GIRL, is a deeper excercise on character development than professional comics.
and no, I DONT HAVE ANY ISSUE ABOUT HER BEING FUTANARI....i actually.....like it.....and, that does not add or substract from her as a character, she is nice cus she is nice, not because she has a penis.
and people keeps asking me why i am a furry....WE HAVE THE BEST TALENT ON THE BUSINESS :)
and, for the love of yiff....KEEP THE COMIC AS GOOD AS IT IS NOW.
and...once again...i am overthinking this. sorry, i tend to do that with stories i like :)

to be honest, I agree. For some years, I hadn't known I had a dad before my stepdad, though my mind could remember someone else from long ago, yet couldn't place it. Mostly cause when you're around 3-8 years old, things seem to happen and distract you enough you can end up forgetting some important things.(at least it seemed to for me. ) Old memories of my dad were like small bits and flashes instead of major memories. Then one year I was visiting my grandma for the summer (lived in another state at the time), and when i went swimming with my cousins, someone approached me and asked if my name was (my name), and said I looked like my dad. Needless to say, I asked grandma about it when I got home...and a few days later, I got to meet my real dad for the "first time" Mom wasn't too happy, but since then she'd accepted that I wanted to know him. Of course this was years ago and at first I was just as unsure, but quickly grew to love him as I did my mom as it let me see my other grandma and such again as well. He's gone now...died of heart problems, but, I'll always love him and am thankful I got to spend as much time as I did with him. So yeah..I absolutely agree this is more realistic than some things in the relationship they're just now getting to know. Sure the "i hate you" and such COULD happen, but doesn't always. Loving the comic though.

yep, again, this comic is dodging the DRAMA IS A MUST BE OR ELSE YOUR STORY SUCKS, BE ADULT, ADD DRAMA, DRAMAAAAA! bullet. for the kid, it is a new thing, he is curious about towel mom, there's no hatred, i mean.....if he hated her...why would he want to see her? as for towel mom.....yeah, she is a softie, but, i love a line she said, I AM NOT CHANGING MY LIFE FOR YOU. she made a choice, and stood to it. good or bad, not the point, she likes the kid. and yes, her plans are changing...but.....her life? nah, she is still the girl she was before the kid. just, with a kid now :) towel mom is actually seeing the kid as a son/friend thing. and i like that dynamic. they are nerding together, this concert trip, adds a lot more than cheap drama and fake tears. and that's something i only see on furry comics.....go figure. :)

Glad you're enjoying the writing aspect of the comic thus far. I do feel like conflict is a must for any good story, BUT it's not something that can be rushed into right from the get-go. Like many things, I believe it's something that works best when approached slow and steady, getting your toes wet with little problems that can be resolved fairly easily, only for bigger problems to arise later. Remember, this is a 3 chapter story, and we're only on chapter one. There's going to be drama taking place, however like with all stories I've written over the years, it'll of course have a happy ending ( otherwise none of the art Atro has made of these characters would make any sense).

i wish the writers of digimon tri and hunter x hunter shared your point of view about drama, and not waste good art and character designs.....but......they dont. :)
keep up the good work.
