I started watching Moomin after work for the first time ever and I really like it. The characters are really cute, Snufkin, Sniff, and Snorkmaiden are some of my favorites. ouo/

Awesome! Snufkin and Nipsu (Sniff) are pretty much my favourites too, so yeah! Nice hat magic. :3

They're really cute and Snufkin is so soothing and gentle with Moomin-I love their relationship. Sniff is just a cutie and I can relate to him pretty well sometimes xD

You can really tell that Moomin's inspired by Snufkin's adventures, but in turn, Snufkin gets a nice taste of the homelife, making it far from an unbalanced friendship. Weirdly, I really like Sniff in the stopmotion Moomins and the Comet Chase movie: his attitude is very natural and has a lot of depth and at some point he's, perhaps unexpectedly, quite responsible. There's a lot of Moomin stuff to enjoy, and I do think the show you've been watching is the overall best show, though Sniff rarely comes off as more than just a selfish child there. At least he's cute. :D I have a mug of him with his cat! :3

I agree with you on Sniff-he can be rather childish and annoying but not bad. Little My can be a bit much and Stinky just makes me angry with some of the mischief he makes xD

I'm going to watch some of the other stuff, once I'm done with the "anime" of it. I most certainly want to see the stop motion stuff, I've seen some pics of it and it looks really nice!

I can be largely interesting because of how freakin' artful it looks, but there's stuff in there that's pure entertainment as well! Anyway, I certainly agree that Little My can be intense - took me a while to like her. I suppose a lot of these characters help make Moomin so comforting. You can feel right at ease when he's waking up 'n looking outside 'n stuff!

I think each character can be very relatable, which of course does help for a show like that. Moomin's adventurous and kind, Snufkin is sweet but can be a little wild, and Little My throws caution to the wind to have a good time xD
