I think it came from A Story Never Told though, when KiDra was doing the written story part, so it may be an English translation from German thing. I ended up quite liking it though. A familiar word that's used in a slightly different way to me gives a fantasy world that familiar but foreign feel.

Do you have a time line for when they adopted Jake? In the previous story lines it seems that Desmond and Simon are not the closest of siblings? Seems that Simon still holds somewhat of a grudge with Chani. The only time we see any family group is when Symeon's egg is hatching. Also Jake apparently doesn't care to hear about Desmond's equipment.
