Chapter 3
In the sunset, Sonic, Amy and Chip were on their way home. Climbing on rooftops. When Amy trapped herself, she felt into Sonic's arms and he helped her stand up and they looked at each other and then turned away shyly.
"I want to thank you for saving me from that man." Amy blushed.
"Nah, that was nothing!" said Sonic as he pole walted to the next building while Chip flied. "So, this is your first time in the market, right?"
"Really? Is it that obvious?" asked Amy.
"Well, you do kinda stand out. Uh, I mean, you don't seem to know how dangerous Rosagbah can be." Sonic blushed and then turned to normal when he played a long plank between the two buildings for her to walk over. But Amy did a leap pole the same way Sonic did, much to the the guys surprise.
"I'm a fast learner!" said Amy as she seducively booped Sonic's nose which made him blush.
"Wow!" said Chip with his eyes wide.
"Come on. This way." Sonic said and he took her hand and finally came to their home. Amy was amazed.
"Wow! Is this where you live?" she asked.
"Yeah. Just me and Chip. Come and go as we please." Sonic replied
"Fabulous." smiled Amy.
"Yeah. Well, it's not much, but it's got a great view." said Sonic as he pulled the curtain to show Amy the view of the palace. "The palace sure looks amazing, huh?"
"Oh, it's wonderful." sighed Amy.
"So, where do you come from?" asked Sonic.
"What does it matter? I ran away and I'm not going back!" said Amy.
"Really?" asked Sonic.
"Why?" asked Chip.
"My father's forcing me to get married!" Amy replied with a sigh.
"Now, that's not cool!" said Sonic with a shock.
"Yeah! That's terrible!" said Chip.
"Thank you for understanding me!" Amy smiled as she blushed at Sonic.
Suddenly the guards showed up in the building.
"There you are!" cried Lancelot.
"They found me!" Both Amy and Sonic cried. And then they turned around to each other. "They're after you?"
As when the guards were about to come closer. Sonic reached his arm to Amy.
"Do you trust me?" asked Sonic.
"What?" asked Amy confusedly.
"Do you trust me?" Sonic repeated.
"Yes." replied Amy as she grabbed his hand.
They both jumped out of the building and landed on an old big cushion. They tried to run away, the guards grabbed Sonic while the other guards tried to chase Chip but got away.
"Let him go! By the order of the princess!" Amy cried as she took off her hood to reveal herself.
Sonic and the guards were surprised to see Amy.
"Princess Amy Rose!" said Lancelot surprisedly as he and the guards bowed to her.
"A princess?" said Sonic surprised.
Chip saw the whole thing while hiding in a jar.
"What are you doing outside the palace? And with this punk?" Lancelot asked.
"That's not your concern, Captain Lancelot! Do as I command! Release him! Now!" demanded Amy.
"Well, I would, princess. But the order comes from Wakim. You'll have to take it from him." said Lancelot.
"Believe me! I will!" said Amy angrily.
Later at the palace where Amy confronted Wakim about the guards arrested Sonic by his orders.
"Wakim, the guards arrested a blue hedgehog boy by your orders!" yelled Amy.
"My dear princess Amy. Your father's charged me with keeping with Rosagbah. The blue boy is a criminal." said Wakim.
"What crime did he commit?" asked Amy impatiently.
"Why, kidnapping you of course." Wakim replied calmly.
"He didn't kidnap me! I ran away!" Amy yelled.
"Oh dear! I have no idea. Sadly, the blue Hedgehog's sentance what already been carried out." he said.
"What sentance?" she asked.
"Death by beheading!" he replied.
Amy gasped in horror.
"I'm really sorry, princess." said Wakim.
"How could you!" Amy scolded in tears and ran to her room.
When she ran into her room and jumped onto her bed crying. Her tiger Daisy comforted her. while Robert walked past her bedroom door, he heard Amy's sobbing. He opened the door gently, and curious about what's going on.
"Amy dear, what's wrong?" Robert asked worriedly.
"Wakim has done something terrible!" sobbed Amy.
"There there, my sweet child. We'll set it right. Now, tell me everything." said Robert as he comforted Amy along with Daisy to hear what happened.
