Well here is something I drew of like last year.

This was my early concept of my character Josh Arune, the japanese-american bat-cat hybrid.

It started as a doodle then I figures, why not do a hybrid to be a little more original, thus, he was born, in a weird, sick way that is basically considered an abomination of nature, you know what, who gives a crap he is cool >8C

A bat_cat? wow, thats new to me. Could he fly? How old is he? Does he have a friend?

He can fly, his arms have the wings like a normal bat thus he wears that trench coat with longs sleeves so his wings dont get too cramped.
But since he is part cat, he is afraid of heights XD
His dad is the japanese bat his mom the american cat.
He has a half sister named Amy Arune wich is the daughter of the dad.
And you can be his/her friend :D

So where does he stow the wings? Does he roll them up under the sleeves? Or are they not attached to his arms?

Might I recommend a poncho =)

They are attached to his arms just like a normal bat, he just wears that long trench coat with long sleeves so his wings dont get cramped, he jsut barely uses them anyways as he is scared of heights.

I might go with the poncho, seems easier to draw :P
