I've been excited quite excited for the new Pokemon games since the announcement last week, but I was busy drawing other things so I finally get to do my fan art take on it, and it's with gijinka versions of all three starters :T
Regarding Grookey strikes as a simply more "caring" type of character, Sobble is timid, Scorbunny is reckless, Grookey just makes sure to right other people's wrongs but isn't super worried all the time.
Scorbunny is obviously the most reckless looking of the three, with a band aid over the nose and under one foot, so I drew her with scrapped knees as well, a definitely energetic type of character who keeps getting into trouble.
Sobble, considering how other sadder or uglier starters have looked over the years I assume Sobble, who seemed more timid and easily scared, will eventually evolve to look more confident.
