It was a beautiful evening in an Arabian city named Rosagbah, where a cat queen from another Kingdom, with tan fur, long, straight and dark brown hair and wore blue royal clothes named Katarizade who arrived in the royal library in the palace of Rosagbah where there were alot of people listening to their royal guest who sat on a big cushion.
"Salaam and good evening, dear people of Rosagbah! My name is Katarizade, the Queen of Safirah! I'd like to thank you all for welcoming me to your beautiful city! An I'm going to tell you a story called "Sonic and the magic lamp"!" said Katarizade.
The audience applauded and then, they listened to Katarizade who was starting to tell them the story.
"It begins with a dark night! Where a dark man waits... With a dark purpose!" she said as she began to tell where the story started with a dark, starry and moonlit night in an Arabian desert, where an evil purple cobra grand vizier named Wakim waiting for a thief named Hazzan the eagle who just recently arrived to meet him.
"You are late." said Wakim coldly.
"I beg a thousand apologies, my patient master!" said Hazzan.
"So, do you have it then, don't you?" asked Wakim with a smile.
"Yep! I've got it!" Hazzan replied as he showed Wakim a half of a golden scarab.
"But! What about the treasure?" he asked Wakim.
But then, Wakim snapped his fingers which made the scarab half disappeared from Hazzan's hands and appeared in Wakim's hand.
"Trust me, my dear friend! You'll get what's coming to you!" replied Wakim as he picked up the other half of the scarab.
When Wakim put the halves together, the golden scarab became alive and flew right on a sand hill and turned it into a magic sandy cave with a head shaped of a griffin. Wakim and Hazzan were amazed to see the cave.
"At last, after all these years! The Enchanted Cave!" smiled Wakim.
"Wow!" said Hazzan softly.
"Now, remember! Bring me the lamp! The rest of the treasure is yours but the lamp is mine!" said Wakim as he grabbed Hazzan by his shirt.
"Y-Yes, sir!" stuttered Hazzan as Wakim let go of him.
When Hassan was about to get inside the cave, the cave became alive which creeped Hazzan out.
"Who disturbed my slumber?" growled the cave.
"I... It is I.. Hazzan... A humble thief.." he replied, shaking with fear.
"Listen very closely! Only one may enter here! One whose worth lies far within! A diamond in the rough" warned the cave.
Both Wakim and Hazzan were very confused with what the cave was talking about.
"What does he mean by that?" Hazzan thought to himself.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Go on!" said Wakim impatiently.
Hazzan hesitated but he did what he said, once he got inside the cave, it shut it's mouth closed and ate him.
"Seek the out, the diamond in the rough!" said the cave once it returned to the normal state with the scarab halves. Wakim was angry at the failure and very determinded to get the lamp.
"Hmmmmm... Hazzan was obviously less than worthy. I must find this diamond in the rough!" Wakim said to himself.
Chapter 1
The next morning in Rosagbah, a young blue hedgehog boy in ragged clothes named Sonic who stole a loaf of break from a bread cart and got chased by royal guards. He ran up to an appartment rooftop.
"Stop right there, you blue punk!" cried the guard captain named Lancelot the green echidna.
"All this for a loaf of bread?" Sonic asked to himself as he landed on a laundry hanging and skeeing down.
"You can't get away that easy!" Lancelot yelled.
"You think that was easy, Lance-loser?" smirked Sonic while still skeeing the rope until he saw a frightened woman closing her shutters, he slammed into the locked shutters and fell down into a pile of laundry as a group of women laughing and watching him.
"Good morning, ladies." said Sonic.
"Getting in trouble a little early today, aren't we, Sonic?" asked one of the women.
"Trouble? Nah! You're only in trouble if you get caught!" replied Sonic while Lancelot was behind him and grabbed him by the west.
"I've got you now!" said Lancelot.
"I'm in trouble!" Sonic gulped.
Suddenly Chip the Light Gaia pulled a wedgie on Lancelot. He felt the pain and let go of Sonic.
"Perfect timing, Chip! As usual!" Sonic winked his eye.
"No problem, Sonic!" smiled Chip.
"Come on! Let's go!" said Sonic as he ran off and Chip was flying along with him while the guards were chasing.
It was a really long chase about around the city. The guards tried to keep up but Sonic was faster than them and he and Chip were hiding behind the wall building. The guards tried to find them, but they failed.
"Where did they go?" asked one of the guards.
"I don't know! That blue hedgehog is really fast! But one day, I'll get my hands on that cocky blue nuisance!" Lancelot growled.
When the coast was clear, Sonic and Chip were about to eat their halves of the bread, they saw two hungry gray cat street urchins looking for food from the trash cans. Sonic and Chip looked sadly at the children and gave their halves to the children.
"Here, take the bread halves!" said Sonic sweetly.
"You must be hungry." said Chip generously.
"Thank you so much!" smiled the children.
Suddenly they heard a commotions in the city, they saw people watching a green hedgehog prince named Scourge who was riding on his horse while he was on his way to the palace.
"On his way to the palace, I suppose." said a man.
"Yup! Another suitor for Princess Amy Rose!" said a woman.
Then, the little street girl saw a ladybug on the road, she ran towards the ladybug to pick up but her brother ran off to move her out of Scourge's way which scared his horse.
"Get out of my way, you little brats!" snarled Scourge has he picked up his whip to hit the children but Sonic blocked and defended the children and snatched the whip.
"Let me tell you something! If I were rich as you, I could afford some matters instead of whipping on people!" said Sonic as he tossed the whip at Scourge.
"I'll teach you some manners! Now, move it, you worthless street rat! I have a princess to meet!" snarled Scourge as he pushed Sonic aside which caused him to fell on the ground, while he continued to go to the palace.
"I may be poor, but I'm not worthless!" yelled Sonic as he got up.
"Sonic, are you alright?" asked Chip worriedly.
"Yes, Chip! I'm alright!" Sonic replied.
"Thank you for saving us from that mean prince!" said the boy.
"Yeah! That whip was so scary! I hope the princess will reject him!" said the girl.
"You're welcome, kids!" Sonic smiled.
Later Sonic and Chip was on their way home to an abandoned apartment. One night when they got into bed, Sonic was watching at the beautiful view of the palace. He smiled and then, he went to sleep.
The next morning in the palace, Scourge stormed angrily away with a slap mark on his cheek and his backside pants were torn off where his underwear was shown. He was angry that the princess Amy Rose rejected him by slapping his face and let her female pet white tiger named Daisy attack him.
"I've never been so insulted in my life! Who does she think she is?" Scourge growled.
"Prince Scourge, are you leaving so soon?" asked a red hedgehog sultan named Robert Rose.
"Good luck marrying her off!" yelled Scourge angrily as he left the palace.
Robert got very annoyed at how Amy rejected her suitors many times. He went to the garden where Amy sat near the fountain while Daisy slept near a tree.
"Amy, you have to stop rejecting every suitor that comes to call! The law says you must be married to a Prince by your next birthday! And you only got three more days!" said Robert sternly to Amy.
"Father, the law is wrong! I don't wanna be forced into this! If I do marry, I wanted to be for love!" sighed Amy sadly.
"Amy, it's not only the law! I just want to make sure you're taken care of. I'm not going to live forever!" sighed Robert.
"Father, try to understand! I've never done a thing on my own! I've never even been outside the palace walls!" said Amy.
"But, Amy! You're a princess!" said Robert.
"Then maybe I don't wanna be a princess anymore!" said Amy annoyedly.
Robert sighed disappointedly and went inside the palace. Amy sat down sadly and couldn't take it anymore. Then, she saw a couple of butterflies flying up in the sky together. She smiled at them and she got an idea.
Later that night, Amy disguised as a normal arabian woman in a robe sneaked into the garden and decided to run away from the palace. She shed tears because that Amy would realise that she'd leave her father and Daisy because she loved them very much. She climbed onto the tallest tree near the wall and finally escaped from the palace.
