While she has no official title, the villagers of Drifter's Hollow consider her something of an authority. She's one of the oldest limniads in the Forest of Refuge, taking pride in covering the land in lush plants. Even the other nymphs look to Flora for guidance. But what makes Flora unique to most of her sisters is her willingness to interact with the villagers.
Other nymphs shy away from peoples, may even regard them with hostility. But Flora has grown to love the villagers, and is now torn between the world of nature and the world of peoples. She compromises by allowing the villagers to settle in her forest, but only if they follow a strict set of rules she and her sisters have set. This is why Drifter's Hollow remains stuck in the stone age while towns around it advance and grow. However, Flora can still boast that her precious soil is free of pollution while neighboring cities cannot. The villagers enjoy crops free of toxins, and so too do their livestock.
Flora herself is a wise old soul, but she isn't without her mischievous side. She likes to pick on certain villagers for her own amusement, but also blesses the crops of those she loves most. She's romantic and playful, loves to dance and sing with the peoples, and has admittedly fallen in love with more than a few of them. Flora is rather distrustful of outsiders and is very strict about enforcing the rules she's set for the village. She and her sisters quickly run miscreants out of town, and so Drifter's Hollow remains a small, primitive, and close-knit little community under her watch.
