Penelope Grandis (or Penny) is an Orcish noble whose grandparents immigrated to Freesia before her parents were born. By currently unknown events, they became a recognized noble family.
Penny was brought up as a fine and admittedly sheltered lady, strongly at odds with the Orcish stereotype. She is very sweet and affectionate, but socially awkward and anxious.
Even more contrary, Penny is a colossal nerd and quite taken with any and all kinds of fantasy games. Her character is usually a heavily-armored "death knight" (ironically rather Orc-typical) despite her consistent performance of nothing but good deeds when given the opportunity - thus, the so-called Dark Lord Penelope is really a very sweet lady. Even her army of creaking skeletons and shrieking tormented spirits is polite and perfectly house-trained.
Penelope fangirls easily and has numerous highly unladylike fantasies about certain male objects of affection.
