After the recent news of how Sonic will look like in the upcoming Sonic movie I actually am ok with this version of how he looks. I liked it so much I decided to finally make some fan art of how Sonic will look in the movie. Actually had a lot of fun drawing this one up. Enjoy!

Ehhhhhh...though I like your version here, like it's okay not what I expect but I'll await further judgement when the trailer finally releases and we'll see how well this blends into live action. Which judging by the video-game movie curse, is not going to go well.

That’s true there, until the trailer actually drops we won’t know how much it will work in live action, it’s not the best one but I can accept it if it’s the actual final Sonic look. I just hope they give him his iconic (or something like them) shoes and gloves by the end of the movie or something.

Same here, especially his socks. When I saw that foreshadowed image it looked like Sonic was wearing his shoes without any socks, with the amount of him running his heels must be bloody chafing like mad to the point of infection.

I honestly don't mind the muscular frame... the face they gave him though... an absolute horror show. They tried to make him look far too human.This version is far better.
The people in Hollywood have no eye for for character design... no heart for character history... and no care for the fans of the series.
They only want money and will rape whatever story they can before they throw its soiled remains to the public.
