This art piece is rather important to me, so i'd be so happy if you sit down and read what i have to say <3
Trying something new can be very hard but also so exciting, this also applies to art. Digital painting has always been something i had a lot of respect for. I always thought it'd be so hard to master and i was just too bad and not brave enough to tackle it yet.
Lately i've tried drawing in a Kemono style, something that i wanted to do for so long already! And i'm rather pleased with my first tries (this piece is the second i've attempted in this style) but i know it still needs a lot of work.
Anyways, while already trying something new with the kemono style, i just thought to myself "heck, why not try digital painting too?". I was super nervous, but here we are! I must admit, a black/white character was the worst choice i could make for my first painting (on my phone and bad monitors, the shading is barely visible because of their bad contrats but on my main monitor it looks fine). But for my first attempt i can say i'm happy for now.
I'll try to practice kemono style and digital painting more, maybe i'll offer it as commission some day. I'd love to hear what you think of it, critique and advice are very welcome!
