Art trade with mari! Chilling with Aokami, on a window seat, eating chocolate and drinking warm tea :3
A bigger piece to start this New Year fresh! First I wanted to make this art trade a traditional one, but I got so much carried away by perspective grids and once I made the sketch... I just felt it would be annoying to spend another three hours tracing everything on paper so I decided to continue digitally... But! I'm really happy I decided so. I suddenly felt so motivated to try new things, so I was experimenting a lot with this "real watercolor" feeling. I must say photoshop is really capable of creating a real watercolor feeling and effect and it was really fun to play around with the brushes. And plus, I'm happy I finally made an illustration in Photoshop after more than a year (so I don't feel like I pay the crappy adobe subscription for nothing x))
