Something I actually made last month but got buried in my files because I got distracted with either one thing or another, it's Mario vs Sonic in a way never done before... in my gallery, there's very likely been people who've drawn this, elsewhere.

This time WITH DUEL DISKS! Which mascot will come out on top in this duel? Who has the better magic and trap cards? Who has the stronger monsters? Come to think of it, what monsters would they even have?

Also, I'm aware that I'm using the Duelist Kingdom setup for the Life Points, but there were no decent quality rips of the Battle City setup, they were all either too small or too pixelated.

Someone on my DA account wrote this as a comment, and I feel it fits the characters:

"I would expect Sonic to be an Aggro deck (lots of creatures that can be played early and spells that do direct life point damage) Speed is just something Sonic does best, and most of his games involve getting to a goal as fast and spectacularly as possible. So I feel he would naturally play a deck that wants to end the game as quickly as possible.

Mario would be probably be more mid range, (a balanced deck that has some cards that can be played early, some bigger cards for later in the game, and some utility spells. Just a little bit of everything but not really focusing on any particular deck archetype.) Mario has a ton of spin off series, Sports, Racing, Fighting, RPG, Platforming Adventure, Puzzle, Party games. I think this would be best represented as a Jack-of-all trades deck."
