A Reference for Archimedes Star Swirl , The son of Twilight Sparkle and Double Diamond in my AU , he was born with difficulties due to Twilight not realizing she was pregnant and taking on a physically tolling spell for the protection of equestria . This resulted in the young alicorns horn to abort , it sealed off and stopped developing due to the surge of magic running through his own and his mothers body . When he was born panic filled the young mother at the thought of another alicorn child , however when he was born there were no magical surges . He was a fussy baby and even more so as a foal . However when the young alicorn showed no signs of magical ability questions were arising . The foal suffered severe headaches due to magical build up and his mother had to constantly use a spell to drain the excess magic from his body , a painful and tolling experience on both of them . He started refusing it as he got older as it was harder and harder to do . The build up was causing hearing and sight difficulties and would later lead to his death if he couldn't find a way to safely release it or unseal his horn .
