I'm tired of being bad at explaining my views on things and bad at handling differences in perspective or, what is it, does it count as philosophy? The way you think at things. Twitter arguments and words don't work on most people. I feel like I've been very "destructive" about my artistic philosophy so I've decided to be "creative" about it instead.
Ergo, I drew the three basic kinds of face I use for the fluffy portion of my Elae Meltaea characters. Lizardy characters aren't very different from these.
I hope one day to create an Elysia where morons who can't tell the difference between people and animals either can't get away with that, or their big dumb pumpkin heads explode when they look at it. In Elysia, "furries" will stand next to "ferals" will stand next to animals, until the world stops being utterly deranged and notices they are obviously not the same thing.
I haven't gotten to the part where I regularly draw ordinary animals, but this chart (which is mostly for my own clarity) already shows a pretty strong difference between "furries" and "ferals".
I thought it was fitting, since my art style began from Sonic anyway, to include a translated quote from the guy who started it all that is largely in agreement with my artistic philosophy. (Source: https://twitter.com/NaotoOhshima/status/107253020932749...)
