is depressing for a couple reasons. One, puppy is dead, poor thing trapped in a box with out enough air.. Two, the little one never even gets to play with his pup. And three, he's going to open up that box and find the poor thing... Okay, so I way over think things.. But I no want puppy to be dead

Death is caring. The puppy will have far more fun with it, chewing on his bones, hiding in his hood. Isn't that better than a life with adults that were thoughtless enough to put him in the box in the first place.
There's a silver lining to most things in this world, you'll have a depressing life if you focus just on the sadness in a situation.

Still... It was to be the little one's puppy, and who is to say if he would have been so neglectful. His parents of course will feel awful over the whole thing I would think. And again I am likely over thinking things, as usual. Half tempted to ask what it would cost for a Christmas miracle. But anyhow Is still a good picture
