Following the aspects of causality the idiosyncrasies of man kind merged to form the image set to Aunu's precognition as he saw a poor future. What else could a reasonable feline who holsters time concluded but to change the past? Zeta who felt the subtleties of reality, flexed the dimensional plane and though she could not see the future like Aunu she could see the alternative of realities allowing her to know the positions of interactions.

Indeed Aunu saw the future but could not conceive, as Zeta possibly could, of what was necessary to change it which is why he looked to alter the past. But to Zeta, to do such had risks she could not forgo and would restructure the alternative of realities that would lose her focus on such dimensions positions. So it came to a head that the Spinx of Destiny's Temporality and the Kitsune of Spatial Position found themselves at odds with how to twist Fates hand. If their powers were used together they could possibly achieve the desired out come all too easily.

But having opposing attributes makes them skeptical of each others methods. Plus they have the unique issue of wanting to One up the other and are all too Giddy at the idea of a challenging battle. Just look at those eyes flushed with Exhilaration set in Aunu and that calm demeanor to stamp her Mark in battle placed on Zeta. Yes they innately know cooperation would get the best outcome but this is too much fun to pass up.
