Not many shows get to me in every episode, and never would I have guessed Bojack would be one. I saw pictures of the show, and just assumed it was some random guy with a horse head for some reason, but then I realized the world was a mix of humans and animals. Where that normally gets a furry like me going, it also has a depth to it's characters, and a timing with delivery of it's comedy and message.

Bojack is such a perfect pairing to the horse species, a creature who so many outside people look at as one thing, but few of those random people ever truly look into the eyes of him to see the depths of his struggle.

I wanted to capture his thinly vailed pain, while still showing this powerful person who could be so much more than he convinces himself that he will only ever be.
