You’ve trained hard over the many years, toiled in harsh weathers to gain strength and endurance. Few have persevered, and fewer have reached to this level, and now, you stand here, as a testament to your work and tireless training. Black, is the opposite of White, signifying the contrast and change you have now become. It is the night, representing the end of your training, and ascending to that of Sensei. The white lining represents your roots, so you will never forget about your first few days in the monastery, about how you first began.

You are worthy of the rank, and are now part of the Masters.
