Character Sheet for Errol Leonson
Character Description
Gax is a White Lion of Average Height (3 Foot 7 Inches) with a slightly above average build, which he built from a swashbuckling life on the open seas. He spends his days following Blaze around, acting as one of her guards, or as a distraction so she can go off and do what she needs to do.
Powers- Light: Can create and manipulate any Light Wave, from lasers to lamps, it also provides protection from the corruption of the relics he carries, though how is unknown.
Strengths- Acrobatic, Nimble, Strong, Gax is a Lion with the skills necessary to get his job done, and survive. He can lift up to 2000 pounds and dodge sword swings like they were nothing. Gax is also very good at thinking on the fly, using improvised weapons if he drops his sword.
Weaknesses- Gax was trained for, and is best at, Meelee Combat. When Guns or ranged weapons are involved he flounders. He also isn't fully trained with his power, like Blaze and Esmeralda are, so he cannot really use it in combat outside of "Solar Flare". While Strong, he is not the Strongest, or really close to the Strongest (Blaze basically is the Strongest in the Sol Kingdom).
Realtionships- Blaze: The Love of his life, Gax longs for the day that Blaze will return his affection. Though secretly she does truely love Gax, she just isn't sure that she wants that life, especially with the way she feels around the girls of Sonic's world at times.
Esmeralda: Despite basically being hired as her replacement, Gax and Esmeralda got along with each other from the start. Gax admiring her focus to her duty, and she admired that he gave up his happiness for Blaze. When in combat they tend to stick close to each other, making up for the others weaknesses.
Varian: Gax has a sour relationship with Blaze's Brother, mostly owing to Gax exposing his Coup and leading to him being exiled.
Ferra: Gax and Ferra tend to avoid each other, both of them sure that they'd hate the other one.
Personality
Gax is your standard swashbuckler, charismatic, suave, and full of energy. It is very rare that you'll find Gax in a sour mood, and if he finds you in one he'll do his best to turn it around. He's also a show-off, often causing undue stress on his compatriots by waiting to the last second to pull something off for dramatic flair.

Background/History
A Dashing Rogue from a far off island, Gax spent a lot of time on the open sea. His father, General Leon, wasn't around often and so Gax was raised by his Uncle, a Privateer named Edward. When Gax was old enough to hold a sword his Uncle began training him, taking him along on his voyages across the world. However Edward had a slight complex, believing it was OK to steal from Pirates, which lead to several misadventures. After one such event, Gax found himself adrift at sea on a small lifeboat. Using what he knew Gax made his way north, hoping to run into inhabited land before starvation or dehydration set in. After two days at the seas mercy Gax landed on an uninhabited island, but one with clean drinking water and several coconut trees. While exploring the island for fire wood for a signal fire, Gax happened upon a dead pirate, clinging to a chest. Curiosity getting the better of him Gax opened the chest and found inside three items, the first a choker with a small gem in the center, the second an ancient weapon that resembled a sword, and third a plain looking rock. Picking up the rock first he was instantly overcome with power, power to control light. It turned out that the stone had been hewn from the Holy Mount, and thus had a connection to the Goddess of Power. Taking the choker and sword Gax went back to making his signal fire, testing out his new powers as he waited for rescue. After three week alone, training his skills and power Gax was finally found by a passing Merchant ship. Traveling with the Ship to the capital of the Sol Kingdom Gax found himself arrested on sight, and brought before the King and Queen. They demanded to know who he was, and where he aquired the Cursed Relics of Iblis. Not knowing what these were Gax introduced himself and told the whole story. The King was inclined to believe him, but the Queen wasn't. That is until Leon burst into the throne room having heard the news himself. Vouching for Gax, Leon stood by his son. The King over-ruled any objections the Queen had and welcomed Gax to the Kingdom, apologizing for the misunderstanding. He then led Gax to the side and asked him if he was interested in a job offer the King had. His daughter, Princess Blaze, needed a guard, someone to watch out for her, and keep her safe. Her handmaiden Esmeralda, though skilled and posessing foresight, was not inspiring confidence in the Kings eyes. Gax was hesitant at first, the sea was his calling, and he longed to get back to it. However upon first meeting Blaze, he changed his mind, openly devoting his life to her, and in confidence his heart.

World/Setting
Gax hails from the Sol Dimension, and spent most of his life sailing it's vast seas, battling pirates, exploring islands, shipping cargo, and other such things. As of now he resides in the castle with Blaze and Esmeralda.
Body
Gax has Green Fur with a dark green mane. His chest fur along with his muzzle are orange. He gels his whiskers so that they don't get in his eyes.
Clothing
Gax typically wears a tan undershirt and dark blue vest, along with a belt, and orange and goldenrod shoes.
Accessories
The Eye of Iblis: A Jewel Embeded in the Choker of the First King of the Sol Kingdom. It was given to the King by supporters of Iblis as a trap, corrupting him and almost bringing about the return of Iblis. On it's own it can also be used to see through walls. With his protection Gax can use this as much as he wants, barring a 3 minute cooldown.
The Blade of Iblis: A Weapon Forged from the armor of Iblis himself, it is sharper than anything in the Sol Kingdom, though not exactly well balanced.
