The next little sketch for this month, which I coloured in black and white (because tbh it looks pretty striking), is Kero from Cardcaptor Sakura! :3
I don't even remember how old I was when I watched the show, but I may have wanted all of Sakura's outfits... xD

If you want to vote for Kero, support me on Patreon for just $1 a month to participate when the poll goes live! :D

Man, that's a lot of clothing for one person!

Kero is so cute! Thank you for sharing.

I know... xD
While Kero just went naked the whole time while no one seemed to be bothered. Technically. :P

. . . What do you mean by "technically?"

Too bad more didn't follow his example. I'm sure they wouldn't have been bothered by it either, eventually. XD.

Because Kero isn't wearing any clothes, so technically, naked. :P

But in "technically" would imply something to the contrary in the same way "figuratively" or "from a certain point of view" does, but in his case, Kero is literally naked. Were people bothered by his nudity? Did they comment on it?

Or is this a "human vs. animal" sort of argument where animals are seen as always naked but not thought of that way because they didn't wear clothes to begin with?

You know, that is an interesting thought...
Is it purely from a human perspective where nudity is an issue?
Or is human-compatible sentience and intelligence a playable factor?

Since our perspective is the only one to go by, I would say nudity is a human issue. (Or at least the only species concerned with it.)

I would hate to think it is a universal constant where "I think, therefore I'm clothed" is reality.

It doesn't even seem constant across human societies really.

I have honestly imagined what technologically advanced aliens would be like regarding nudity... and how they might view humans with their freaking out over it...

Clothing is for practical purposes. Besides, having clothing for all year wearing (unless it were necessary (ie. cold)) creates the need to have and create more clothing.
Put on your conspiracy hat, the clothing industry is the flavour of the month!

And every month there after!

I've thought of technologically advanced aliens and their clothing habits too and agree clothing would only be used for practical purposes. Otherwise, it kind of feels like an addiction. The way you described it is perfect as something that creates an artificial need that feeds itself.
