Maybe it's not a moral issue, maybe it's not an issue of people being afraid of things they don't understand, but perhaps it's nothing more than lashing out at fetishes that turn them off for selfish reasons. Perhaps they want to discourage artists from making a certain type of porn that they're not into, which in turn could even discourage other artists indirectly, thus ultimately leading to less porn of this type: and more of every other type. It's possibly the reason people don't blacklist or hide fetish tags they dislike, but instead go out of their way to downvote them: doing their part to downvote every picture that involves and discourage every artist that draws the things they don't like.
