I just find it difficult to write my Starbound stories when they contain so much stuff that is not actually part of Starbound. That would be like me trying to write a Digimon story when most of the characters are Pokémon instead. XD

That’s understandable. I tend to be a bit specific with my mods. Generally QOL stuff and three specific races. Felin, Avali, and Bukkykin. Just enough to have more soft cute things, but also unique villages and Skimpy outfits~
Though if I run Frackin Universe...well...overkill factor kicks in, given how stupidly huge that mod is.
