Anyway, I've been wanting to do this since last year. (Ha, see what I there?) In the city I live, there are adds more or less like this, with the objective to convince people to donate blood. We receive a red bandage in the place where the needle went.

I've been donating for... a year and a half I think? And I know more or less the process of donating blood. It's all really chill really. And there's nothing to be scared.
...ok, maybe just a little bit, but just from a bit of nervousness.

And besides, you're just giving a bit of blood to save 4 lives. And people need blood every year, all the time.
Other positives is that it renovates your blood as well. Since you lost half a liter (1/6 of the total), your body creates new blood, literally, to replenish to one lost. Just don't exercise yourself after the donation, you might black out.
Men can do it every 3 months, while women can do every 4. But really, doing it once a year is already a huge help.
And of course, I know this contradicts the drawing I did, but not everyone can donate. You have to do tests beforehand and answer some questions to make sure your red liquid is safe for others. But other than, it doesn't hurt (much) to do it.

Anyway, just wanted to advertise it a bit, so more people could donate, and maybe even make a habit of it.

This is a just a small act for us, but for those in need, it could change their lives.
