There's neither denying nor escaping the fact these sketch dumps are both quick and pageview-profitable... So here's another! :D
...And, yes, I'm still gonna do ACEOs---I'm just going through a phase (I'll make two more dumps, then move onto other endeavors). ^^;
From top left to right:
Dino-Riders. I know I had one of D-R toys, and I 'want' to say I had one or two episodes on VHS... but I really don't remember. ^^
I kinda wonder if the Jurassic World universe is heading in a Dino-Riders direction, what with its (asinine) ambition to militarize dinosaurs.
Tails. From Sonic the Hedgehog... I was raised on Nintendo, albeit my first dip into console gaming was via SMS (not the same as the Genesis).
Top Cat. Another strange entry from Hanna-Barbera.
Charlie Dog. An underused Looney Tunes character. I swear Digeri Dingo was based on Charlie's model sheet (just change the ears and tail).
Foxglove. From Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers. ...I really messed this sketch up---I had to redraw her head TWICE. I dunno what the issue was exactly (Disney characters tend to psyche me out).
Anyway, didn't Foxglove have a dedicated following at some point? I seem to recall seeing fan art of this character being uploaded to FA somewhat infrequently ...then it stopped. *shrugs*
Judy Hopps arrests Ed (TLK). ...This was bound to happen.
The next two were squeezed in, because dead space = NO! D:
Auggie Doggie (top). I don't think that, as a child, I ever saw an Augie Doggie/Doggie Daddy cartoon. I typically saw these characters only as extras/incidentals in Yogi specials. The only Augie cartoon I remember is one I sought on YT: 'Fox-hounded Fox'. ...The fox in that episode was based on Mr. Jinks's model sheet. :3
Speckle (bottom). Speckle is from the original Clifford the Big Red Dog cartoon. Speckle was a character in the books Emily-Elizabeth would read to Clifford, as a segue between the show's main stories.
Mouse Child. From The Mouse and His Child movie. ...Yeah, that movie is something else.
It's been on my draw list a while now, I just haven't been inspired to make art of it. That changed when a friend linked me to a YT upload of the film---I clicked, I watched.
I've seen this movie several times, as well I've read about half the book---'half' because i'd had enough of it. ...The book is gratuitously violent, IMHO. Now, I'm not opposed to violence in storytelling, but it has to serve a purpose---the book failed there. :P
As for the movie, it uses violence to much better effect. Even so, the script is, well... Let's say parts of it seem like it should be read aloud in a coffeehouse before a stoned audience (troubadour style!). Such is my impression, anyway.
