After ratboy Charon was led away by the judges for his secondary Number 1 prize, Ligeia revealed to Cammy what she had been working on: A little gingerbread effigy of the two of them.
Ligeia was never really that great at first impressions but today she had a stroke of genius!
Cammy was absolutely delighted and, while losing still stung, she couldn't help but be happy at how sweet this girl was to her.
They introduced each other and began chatting about random stuff. It took a while for Cammy to say Ligeia's name correctly too. Lye-JAY-uh! She had to punch it into her own brain as she kept defaulting to Lee-GEE-uh. It was fine, though, because Ligeia kept defaulting to 'Kimmy' in pronunciation.
They ended up talking to each other for hours afterward.
