She starts rummaging through various items, mostly linens.* Since Angela ran out of Jucoweed, she sent us down here to the cargo hold to try and find some more, so all we have to do is… Rick: … Dixie: Rick? Rick: hmmm? Dixie: You’re staring at my butt again, aren’t you? Rick: Well… it is very nice to look at. Dixie: Cut it out, Rick. Rick: What? I can’t admire something of great beauty; or rather great booty? Dixie: *groan*
Rick is the newest member of the Pirate Vixen crew and has been designated as the helmsman of their ship, the Lucky Fox. As the helmsman, it is essentially his job to pilot the ship (obviously). Through his skills, the Lucky Fox has been able to pass through extremely treacherous waters with little or no damage to the ship. He has also successfully steered the ship away from dangerous obstacles (namely naval blockades) on many adventures. Rick stands about an inch shorter than Black Jack (making him 6'1" ) and he possesses a somewhat muscular build. It has been determined that Rick is a fairly decent fighter; not nearly as good as Jack or Dixie, but he can hold his own in a fight if he has to. Rick has also shown some interest in Dixie; especially when it comes to her most prominent feature. He has flirted with Dixie on several occasions but she seems to lack any real interest in him. In fact, most of the time she seems to find Rick rather annoying. Anyway, Rick has proven himself to be an invaluable member of the Pirate Vixen crew and everyone on board considers him a friend worth having.
And on a side note, Jucoweed is an herb mostly used to relieve back pain and reduce swelling. It’s a rather common medicine used by many expectant mothers.
