Oh, she did her best. She screamed and kicked and fought and did everything she could to escape, but it was for naught. Now she can feel her her feet already in the predator’s stomach, and though she continues to fight, she’s all out of leverage. She has one last view of the outside world, framed by teeth and tongue, before those lips close in front of her. She will vanish, and all that will be left will be a very full, satisfied predator.
