I've run into the same problem. But most people I've worked with are reasonable enough. Sketches are generally fine, but once I get to the coloring and shading stages it can be pretty grueling. That's not so much when it becomes hard. The sketch is harder. The coloring and shading is where it becomes extremely time consuming. Some commissions I get to a certain point on, and I just want them to be finished, lol
The way I keep going is with the thought that, even though I'm doing it to fulfill and obligation to my customer, I could just refund their money and forget about it. Not feeling trapped is one of the key elements which allows me to enjoy an activity again. I don't need to fulfill that obligation, I want to. This puts the choice back in my field of control. Plus, if a commission is hard, it generally means that I have something to learn from it.

Awesome line-up. Were I buying a commission on this scale, I'd expect it to cost a whole lot... I must be in the minority in that I'm never in a hurry about getting art and I expect to pay for what I'm getting.

I'm doing that right now. I like all these designs, although Veronica is my favorite, and Selena, Eleanor, Bridget, Zhu Liang and Yella arent far behind. I hope to see more artwork of all of them. (And yes, the male characters are good too.) Now if only Sharpshooter (or someone) would start writing about these characters...
