I love the Christmasy/wintery atmosphere in this one!!! <3 Could bundle up warm, or curl up with cocoa and a fire, and watch that falling snow. ^.^ Grr, I wish it snowed more in my state!!

Thanks so much! You can turn the heat down and look at pic 2 while playing youtube videos of fires for a budget alternative :3
Wishing you some snow for the new year at least! <3

Eeehee, good idea, at least for crackly fire sounds!! XD And I'll have to imagine snow this year -- the lowest low thru New Year's is about 32F...not even sleet!! >.<

I really must go, but baby it's cold outside, just look at that snow, yeah baby it's cold outside, think you better just stay here and snuggle.  That's the way the song should have gone.

A most heart warming picture.

Mind you I just wish it was on the beach as I huddle here in bed with it 0 degrees outside and the wind blowing a gale looking at a beautiful snow covered scene isn't helping. :p

*looks out at the looming 80F+ week ahead* I'd be pretty happy for some freezing, blustery weather, really don't handle heat well and we're starting to get to it over here...

I would definitely prefer the cold over the heat as well, but when you're working outside and your fingers start to freeze, well it's not so good. If I was relaxing in a nice warm house looking out at the snow falling outside then yes I would think it was beautiful.
80F+ is hot? That's warming up to be sure, but summer in this country would need a few more "+'s" added to that, before we got to hot. The Hottest day last summer here was 114.2F. I'm just glad I don't live over in the west where they have tops around 133F.

It's hot to me! I can barely handle the heat in the 90-100F range, I don't know how I would even function in those temperatures D:

Function? Who said anything about actually being able to function. ;)
Some people like the heat, I just try to survive those hot days with lots of water and plenty of sun screen.  I still have to look after the animals no matter what the weather is doing though.

Ha, fair! The animals are always a good motivation to deal with it at least; my last dog was always so stubborn about walks, she'd get me out of the house if it was 90F and blazing sun or sub-zero and a full on blizzard (although I always kept walks short in both those conditions, to her constant protest).

Yes... The breed you have can certainly be rather insistent about giving you "your" exercise.  I always hate seeing people taking snow dogs (huskies, mallies etc.) out in the heat especially on pad burning concrete paths. It would be like taking a greyhound out in the snow without a coat. I always walked my boy in the evenings so we could get a few good km's under our paws to keep him in top condition. Speaking of metric things when are you guys going to join the modern world and start using degrees C. kilograms and kilometers etc. :)

Oh yes, always tried to keep her in appropriate weather, not that it ever stopped her. Had some boots for when she really insisted in going out in the freezing cold, and a creek to walk in in the sweltering heat.

And I'm afraid we have more pressing issues to get sorted out over here before we go trying to change the units people use :p
(seriously though, I've tried to start using metric multiple times and I just can't get my brain to think in them by default when the majority of people I talk to use imperial units, it's a tragedy :c)

Hey a girl wants what a girl wants, those paws were made for walking. And that's just what she'll do.

I would have thought metric would be easier, you can use your fingers and toes to count :p I mean do you know how painful it is to need to cut bits off yourself to work out 3/8ths of something. ;)

I hope we aren't getting to far off track with this, always happy to take this to a PM, I would hate to distract from your beautiful art.

Oh don't get me wrong, I find metric much easier to work with in isolation! The problem is when everyone and everything I have to interact with insists on using a different system and I have to constantly juggle an awkward mental calculation, which then prevents me from really getting an instinctive feel for what metric measures actual are in the real world, instead always just having to do an additional layer of math, and it becomes more of a burden than anything else. If I ever move out of the US though I'm all on board :3
