Character Description
Espio is Team Chaotix's spy and expert in infiltration, thanks to his ability to adhere to almost any surfaces and what he calls his "mimetic jutsu". In fact, he's a very skilled ninja, expert in martial arts and in using the typical ninja weapons, like shurikens and katanas. He proved to be a valiable ally in almost every battle he was a part of, and a threat to not underestimate for his foes
Personality
Espio is a very intelligent and serious character, showing his wiseness and calm almost every day. However, he's proved to be quite self-obsessed and ruthless sometimes and would threaten anyone who disrespects him or his beloved ones. That changes when he's around Silver, becoming more teasing and dominant, or Tangle.

Background/History
Espio was born on East Island, on the other side of the Toxic Tops, which was the scorpions's domain. Scorpions and chameleons had always been fiery foes, especially because scorpions used to kidnap newborn chameleons to get the rare poison in their horns. Espio had been trained to become a ninja until him and his clan had to flee due to the fire who Eggman unleashed to kill the scorpions. Arrived in South Island, he became a detective and became close friends with Knuckles and Vector, joining with the latter and Charmy Bee afterwards, forming the Team Chaotix. Later on he found out that a scorpion, Hemlock, was still alive and briefly fought with him until he reluctantly accepted to help him taking revenge on Eggman. After Sonic was accidentally poisoned by Hemlock, Espio lashes at him, revealing the hellish reasons behind their conflict, and leaves with his team to find the cure for Sonic. After saving the hedgehog, Espio and Hemlock renewed their rivalry, especially since Hemlock's girl, Tangle, uses Espio to make him jealous, despite the chameleon being in a relationship with Silver
