When Faye returned to the warehouse she and her friends had investigated a few weeks ago in the hope of discovering more clues as to the Fangs Of Midas' whereabouts.
Unfortunately, the gang's mascot/pretty boy/second in command, Silver had been keeping an eye on the ferret's snooping about was waiting for her in the now empty warehouse, and quickly overpowered her in the hopes of delivering the meddelsome mustelid to King Midas himself.
However, the white wolf wasn't the only one having been keeping an eye on the now helpless ferret. Rutger had secretly followed her because he just knew she was going to get into trouble snooping about on her own. The raccoon confronted the wolf, who quickly snapped around and tried to attack the ringtail. No-one was going to ruin the gift for his King!
Except that Silver wasn't the most spectacular of fighters. His strikes were easily dodged, blocked or parried by the ringtail, who sure as hell wasn't leaving this place without his girlfriend still in the hands of this platinum-haired boytoy. The combatants didn't spend too long trading blows before Rutger spotted an opening and hit him right in the stomach, following up by decking the would-be kidnapper in his pristine white schnozz. Silver responded as one would expect and flopped to the floor like a pile of dirty laundry, allowing Rutger to quickly free his girlfriend and make a break for it.
To be fair, Faye would later say that her raccoon might just be embellishing the story a bit. For one thing, neither him and certainly not Silver were this muscular. XD
