I loved the Kul Tiras sets. Even took my Tauren hunter over there after reaching 120 to get the transmogs for 'em.
Then came the Dark Times. The lack of content. The shitty, pointless professions. And then Blizzard ripped off their mask and revealed that they had been replaced by a dreadlord named Activision.
So yeah, enjoy what's probably the last expansion.

Not sure how any previous expansions had less or worse content.
The dungeons and raids (including the next one which was tested and testers loved it so far) are great, the zones are great, quests and the whole theme are great, world PVP was never this good. You don't play the game for the professions, and they were pretty shitty before Legion as well. Last time they were meaningful was in Burning Crusade. Incursions are awesome, narrows down the places WPVP happens, and it happens multiple times a day.
Many people don't like the whole azerite armor thing, and they're scrapping it all together. Not that it was a big deal.
Don't like Warfronts? Don't do them. Don't like world quests? Don't do them. They weren't great in Legion either btw, and now there's at least some variety. Don't like store mounts? Don't buy them. Not that you can't buy them with gold anyway through WoW tokens. Don't like island expeditions? Don't do them. I don't do them, nor WQs and I'm capped on azerite pretty much.
The expansion is great, but it's popular to hate big companies for their shitty money-grabbing activities. But here's the catch: WoW is being made by the WoW devs. Not Activision.
That's a pretty pestimistic way of seeing things. Not sure how any previous expansions had less or
