A question I get asked a lot, and never have a good answer for. I realized today that there is no good answer I can give, and that the best answers are the ones we find ourselves.

May it serve as some inspiration to start/keep going/never stop

I could not agree more with this. It's more or less the same answer I give to people who say "Gee, I wish I could write stories". If I can learn how to do it, so can anyone. All it takes is the desire to do it and the willingness to work and slog and keep at it, even when it's hard, even when you feel like everything you do turns to shit.

But this is another reason why I like this fandom. It's nice when people post things like this to encourage others and get them to try. So thank you for posting this!

Thanks for taking the time to make something like this. Tutorials and morale boosters are always invaluable, especially to derps like myself when art woes and self doubt begin to conjure deep within the sadness factories of the soul owo

I would reccomend life drawing and searching about the fundamentals but still practice is the way to go
