Dakka isn't scared of needles, at least not when they are used how they are supposed to.
It fascinates him really, more than anything else.

Every thing has its own set of complexities. The way the blood flows, how he is supposed to clench his fist and relax it rhythmically. How that small machine rocks back and forth to stop the blood from coagulating.

And at the end of the day a little sting is a small price to pay to be able to help someone else.
Maybe even save a life.

And you also get a cookie.

I am too, but have trouble donating. They tend to usually have a fair amount on hand since they don't want to use it with other people if they can avoid it. Because while we're the universal donor, we can only receive O- blood. So they try and save it for emergencies involving someone with O- blood.

They end up having to throw out more than they use in a lot of places as a result.

I live in a smaller population then you probably so trust me it doesn't go too waste! It's also used in infant surgery and some other medical stuff. They usually call me.

AMAB, assigned male at birth. It's a Thing for NonBinary and (in my cas) trans girls/women. Trans boys/men are AFAB, assigned female etc, or NB but born as female.

Ohh I see. Does that cause issues with donating blood? I would donate if they didn't ban gay people for no good reason. There's lots of other "high risk" groups that if they even thought about banning there would be riots and screams of racism. Gay people can just lie of course, and donate anyway, which means their blood test/screening process must be good enough to make that not a problem. Which means it's not a problem in the first place. It makes no sense.

I had to sadly stop donateing plasma my goodvien now has weakened and sadly get blood between the viens now each time I try and donate
can't even take iv's or blood draws at that spot and its the best spot on my arm

ya I was donateing to help others but it also was bringing me extra money in which was helping pay debts, but life happens but good pic and brave pup at his age they had to drag me out from under chairs if I saw th needle

I was a donor in my 20's, but I can't no more. Silly situation here in my country. I didn't come out as gay until 30, and the second I took dick in my ass, I lost the right to be a blood donor =(
