And this became interesting to me: what if the same people would design a similar machine, with the same scheme, with similar materials and technological level, but for "different applications". How would it look?
So here it is! :D Technically, it's a young brother (sister?) of my previous mech.
Some info: Mass: ~60kg, Size: ~2,5m (with tail). Power source: 6 battaries. Has no own power generation system. Structure: carbon fiber, aluminium, plastic. Body shape: lightweight soft synthetic foam. Movement: ligh muscle strings. "Hide": synthetic materials, plastic. Computer system: simplified and highly restricted AI brain based on outdated military AI systems.
I worked on it a lot to make it not just one more sexy mech, but really make it "possible" The entire design flow of it leads to simplification of used technological solutions and cheapening of used materials + reduction of weight of the entire construction, to make it cheap enough for more people so not only rich companies can afford it + make it possible to keep such "toy" in an average flat. If I had to design it IRL, I would lead such way as well.
