"Arbiter!" ‘Sraom said in salute to his high-valued individual. "No need for recognition, N’tho," Thel said in response, "You’ve done well guarding my quarters from any would-be assassins." "Only making sure no Brute stragglers are on-board, Arbiter!" The Major replied as the two entered the quarters, "Is there anything for me to do for you now, sir?" "As a matter of a fact, there is." "What is it, Arbiter?" "I need you to wash my armor and combat skin." 'Sraom blinked for a second before responding, “Are you sure that's what you want me to do, Arbiter?” "Of course." Thel responded as he removed his helmet for the first time in ages. "But…why, Arbiter?" ‘Sraom once again questioned, "Our armor is pressure washed while we’re in it, and our combat skins are handled by Hugarok, not warriors such as myself." "Yes, but you must remember, the Arbiter armor itself is ancient, so it must be handled by the care of Sangheili hands. Plus, the combat skin is more rugged than other ones, so it’ll be safe through the same process as the cleaning of the armor." "But, why me, Arbiter?" "Well, I have heard some of the warriors talking about how you and-" "Say no more, sir! I am on it!" Thel chuckled a bit, “Very good. Now, help me out of this armor.” "Of course." It was a bit awkward for the two, espcially when a certain crotch piece got stuck and ‘Sraom and Thel had to pull together to remove it, but they eventually got the battle-hardened armor off. Thel then removed the combat skin with the plasma lock on the back, stepping out of it and leaving him naked except for the bright white human briefs. 'Sraom, having been around hundreds of other Sangheili in this state before, was not really fazed by the site of the Arbiter in his underwear, but was struck with a sense of oddness when he saw suspicious writings on a peculiar part of the undies. "Arbiter?" "Yes?" "Why is there human writing on your briefs?" "Well, uh…" Thel chuckled a bit nervously, and thought up a quick lie, "…they were old human base locations from a battle early in the war. I ran out of room on my holo-table, so I simply painted the remaining locations onto my undergarments." "Oh. Hm, interesting method of planning, sir." "Why, uh, thank you, N’tho." 'Sraom gathered the discarded armor and skin as he walked towards the door, “Wonder which idiotic human thought to name a base 'Fruit of the Loom.'” The door shut behind ‘Sraom as he left the underclothed Arbiter alone.
