Just some random fun.
Felt like mishmashing various things and see where it leads me.
Mostly slavic inspired.

I am not sure about the shield, the design looks... kind of late roman or byzantine?  :v

yeh, more on the byzantine side of things, though that said it actually wouldn't be out of place for medieval period.
As for the symbol, its kolovrat, pagan slavic symbol.

clothes are of much later date, but all in all i didn't go for any particular thing, just drew randomly to see how it would look like xD

Yeah I noticed is very random.  =P

Next time try to do something more accurate, some armors like the medieval russians are a mess very interesting: kyte shield, lamellar armor, curved sables, byzantine art and turkish-mongolic tactics.  xD

dunno, i might do something more accurate if the inspiration holds me.

If you need inspiration I have... well only one medieval picture here.  xD

Is hard to draw that kind of stuff, require a lot of details, historical details, parts for the armors, icons for shields, the correct weapons, historical periods, etc.
