Lucky had met many pokemon who passed into the Lost Forest and became subject to it's traps. Some did so accidentally, others went into the forest purposefully, but all wound up lost. He often scared those he tried to help, his scarred face alluding to someone who'd fought many hard battles, despite the contrary being the case for Lucky.
One day, however, a very special guest was found lost in his forest. He'd heard of ninetails; a beautiful fox with many flowing tails behind it. He didn't expect them to be of different colors, nor did he expect her to be wearing clothing, or able to manipulate the environment to a limited extent with what seemed like psychic powers. he assumed she had to be part of a mystery dungeon squad and became lost. Once more he startled his guest when he made his presence known, but she was different. She didn't cower or try to fight, she was instead pleased to meet him and was happy to become friends. He brought her back to his tree home in the central area of the forest and gave her food and access to clean water to ensure she was well before he escorted her out. She didn't want to impose, but he insisted.
She remained there for two days, recovering from her fatigue as she said she was on a journey of sorts. Lucky had a hard time understanding what her goal was as she used many terms he was unfamiliar with, but he listened regardless. Unfortunately, every time he looked her way, she'd wince and Lucky would hide his scars with shame. She eventually asked what caused the scars, but he was reluctant to say, the memory too painful, but she could plainly tell he was both ashamed and upset at the scars and loss of his eye.
Finally the day came where she was ready to leave. He escorted her out of his forest with little issue, but before she left, she pulled an object out of her little satchel; a black eyepatch. Lucky happily accepted it, but was unsure what it was for until she placed it onto his head and held up a small mirror, showing how his scars were now hidden. Even to Lucky, his face looked so much more friendly.
He couldn't thank her enough as she continued on her way, a standing invitation given to her that she was welcome into his forest any time.
