After being held hostage for about a month, while molested by the captives, the police were too close to discovering the victim's position. In a futile attempt to save themselves, since the victim had lost its life, (after he has been brutally beaten) they dump him in a very noticeable way, inside a litter bin actually. Too bad they couldn't stuff his whole body inside! That's probably, not the best way to get away with murder.
