Xander was cub sitting for the adorable little boy next door and decided since it was such a balmy autumn day the two of them should play in the back yard. When the tyke tromped across the unfenced yards to his swing set, his speedy waddle caused a great big bright orange and black butterfly to take flight in the unusually warm afternoon air.
Such a large and bright thing caught the wolf pup's eye and he turned with a squeal of delight to chase after it, half-jumping with his arms upraised as the thing swooped and soared just out of the little one's reach. Xander caught up with the small cub and scooped him up in his arms just as the butterfly hovered above their heads. Reaching high Speckie just almost has it! Almost there! Just one touch!
Ok so this is oooooooold art lol. From Feb-Mar 2014 kinda old lol. Just a cute moment with a friend and his sona from a long time ago. Xander's markings and other features are different than they are today. This is not his new look, rather this is his old look.
The art is so old it's actually by an artist who used to call themselves Kalida. Since those days, they've done a lot of account swapping and changing the kind of content they draw. I think most recently they got really into Telegram stickers calling themselves NowandLater on FA. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
