A day in the life of James Bunny Paws
It was 9:00. Sammy Paws walked to the nusery and pulled off James's cute covers and gave James a tiny shake. James woke up and staried happily at his Mommy who picked him up and changed his stinky diaper from a naptime into a normal one. She then carried him to the kitchen and secured him in his highchair. She opened a jar of food and James clapped his paws. Smiling, she fed James his breakfast and finished with a bottle of milk. After that it was playtime until Lunchtime. James crawled upstairs and rushed to the playarea. He pointed to the TV, Sammy turned it on and Teletubbies was on. James also pointed to the baby bouncer. ``Aww, my little bunny wants to watch TV in his bouncer, aren't you just the cutest thing.'' Sammy put James in the bouncer. James started bouncing having a great time giggling while watching his favorite show. After about five teletubbie episodes, it was time for lunch. James was disappointed to leave but made no protest and ate without complaint. He was then changed back into Naptime diapers and put down for a nap. He woke up two hours later and spent another three hours playing outside. Rachel was watching him carefully from the shadows. He enjoyed playing on the playground. Finally, Sammy called him in and gave him a bath as he had made his diaper very messy. James liked baths and was happy to have them. After being fed Dinner, he was back in his naptime diapers and crib. Sammy was reading a story to him. After James had fallen asleep, Sammy returned to her special room. She put a gold star on James' behavior chart. That made almost two weeks of good behavior, James only had a few black Xs, which marked days he was punished for misbehavior. ``I must be one good raiser, and this proves Spankings work. If you punish them for misbehavior like that, they aren't likely to do the same thing twice'' Sammy said to herself. ``Still, I should start thinking of a reward for James, he deserves a nice present for behaving so many days in a row. If he gets no black Xs for the weekend, I'll get him a new plushie. He'll love that.'' After playing upstairs, 5:30 rolled around. After feeding James, changing him into his naptime diapers and giving him a binkie. She read James a little bedtime story. James behaved great on the weekend, and Sammy was good to his word. ``James, you've been very good this weekend'' She told James on Monday, and as a reward, I'll buy you any plush you want at the toy store!'' A big grin spread across James' face, and he got very excited. ``Calm down, sweetie,: Sammy said over James' babbling. She picked the bunny up and strapped him into a booster seat in the car. Put his stroller in the back and drove to the store. James was too excited to fall asleep in the car. It was a quick drive, and only 20 minutes later. She unstrapped James and then strapped him in the stroller, She rolled James to a wall of plushies, ``Take your pick, sweetie'' Sammy told him, James pointed to a tiger plush, it was small, perfect size for him. ``The tiger?'' Sammy asked and James nodded. She grabbed the plush and James made a reach for it, but Sammy said ``Be patient, James, Mommy has to pay for it first.'' James stopped and decided to try and stay patient without making a pouty face. After paying for it, She gave it to James who hugged it tightly. Sammy smiled as she rolled James back to car and strapped him in back in his booster seat. She smiled at how happy James was with his new toy before driving back home.
