suggested dressing Nalani up as a cat in some stockings pawing at the viewer! I really like this idea, but feel like my execution of it isn't as good as it could be.
Proportions got really weird when I tried to draw a dog while looking at reference images of cats for poses, had a lot of little changes to make from the original sketch and kept getting distracted by other things this month. She's winking because cats wink a lot, definitely not because I couldn't get her eyes to line up with them both open ;P
There were some additional more interesting cat poses I wanted to do, but never got those sketches looking decent, so maybe I'll do more of this next year! I think I'm developing a thing for canines in stockings, though, so more of that in the future for sure :D

Now that I read the description and know what you were going for, I can actually see a certain cat like vibe in the way she is sitting. Perhaps a pom pom off a beany hat, or something she could have been batting at, would have made it a little more obvious as to what she was doing, but still a nice cute picture.
