InkTober 2018 Day 29 Double
InkTober 2019 Prompt List
InkTober is almost at an end! Well, it's been challenging, nerve-wracking, but also fun!
I strongly suggest all artists of all skill ranges to try out InkTober next year. It's wonderful seeing fellow friends and fans producing art.
Drawing Traditionally is a lot easier in a sense, that you don't need any fancy computers or tablets to Art with, and you can do it any where, at any time (like Lunch Breaks!) However, it's also a lot harder. Your mistakes, once committed with final inking, is permanent. It requires more forethought and planning. There is no Ctrl-Z function in real life. That being said, it's still very fun to try out.

So. The Dark Scroll on this page reads the following bit of poetry:

"Druid Magic
Seeks a Fate
Through Bolt of Light he Feels.
A Future Tragic
It's far too Late
The Jolt of Sight reveals..."

I used to write stories.
Back when I was a kid, I had my writing submitted to our big regional story compilation/newsletter called "Stepping Stones" a few times. They saw I had some talent, so each time my stories got included to their newsprint, they also sent me to a special Boot Camp for young writers. I went to the Young Authors Association in Edmonton, where people of all age ranges, from as young as a I was to High School students, we all got to go to a big community hall and go to individual lectures where they taught various forms of writing and techniques. My absolute favourite at the time was murder-mystery writing, since I grew up with a lot of Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys books.
I thought about doing poetry... but honestly, while I can rhyme, I'm not that great with poems. These little jingles are just limericks, nothing special.
